About the Westbourne Centre

The Westbourne Centre is a medical centre, bringing together a diverse group of specialists with the support of a committed company to provide state-of-the-art facilities, to enable them to do the highest quality procedures and treatments in the world today.

The Westbourne Centre was launched in January 2009 by four well-established surgeons who wanted to provide a safe and pleasant environment for their patients, and have the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring about new methods for treatments. The surgeons Mr Fazel Fatah, Mr Hiroshi Nishikawa, Mr Stephen Dover and Mr Anthony Summerwill created a joint venture with the global hospital company, Ramsay Healthcare Group. The addition of Ramsay Healthcare to The Westbourne Centre ensured hospital operations support and access to the most advanced clinical technologies. The location for The Westbourne Centre was purposefully chosen to be at the heart of the country: Edgbaston, Birmingham, West Midlands.
