Porcelain Veeners
Porcelain laminate veneers are bonded onto the tooth surface.
They can be used for improving the shade of the teeth when
bleaching is not possible, closing spaces between teeth and
correcting misaligned teeth.
The tooth is reduced by about ½ mm and impression recorded to allow
the technician to make the individual veneers. These are then tried
in and bonded into position.
Porcelain veneers are restorations with a high success rate. They
are however an irreversible treatment option as some preparation of
the tooth is required before fitting.
