A mini abdominoplasty is a procedure performed for those patients with a minimal amount of loose abdominal skin. Usually through weight loss or ageing, the lower abdominal skin will not retract and tighten as it did when we were younger.

An incision is made in the lower abdominal crease above the pubis and loose, excess skin is removed. 

There is no muscle tightening performed with a mini abdominoplasty and usually a minimal amount of fat is removed.

Recovery is far quicker than with a traditional abdominoplasty, with most patients returning back to normal within three to four weeks.  The procedure is performed under Local Anaesthetic with sedation in our very own state-of-the-art theatre.
