Sanjay Azad graduated from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College in India with honours in ENT and Pathology. His academic achievements were complemented by his sporting accolades in squash and swimming.
He went on to do the Masters in Surgery as part of his basic surgical training. He has trained at the best centres in the country and underwent his registrar training in Merseyside. Following his registrar training, he completed the sought after Manchester Oncoplastic Breast Fellowship which deals with reconstruction of the breast following breast cancer. He also completed the Mersey Cosmetic Fellowship. He has attended numerous international conferences and workshops to give him a global perspective of Cosmetic Surgery.
Mr Azad is now based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham where he deals with complex reconstructions and massive weight loss patients. He runs national courses including the WAPS course, Lipomodelling Day, West Midlands Plastic Surgery Meeting. He is committed to teaching and training and brings his expertise to Cosmetic Surgery.
He has authored a textbook in General Surgery and also numerous papers in international journals. Mr Azad aims for total patient satisfaction through the entire surgical process.

Mr Azad also has a special interest in Breast Reconstruction after cancer and for breast developmental problems. He also has a major interest and expertise in post bariatric surgery.
