Shanthi Sidhom

Consultant Orthodontist

Consultant in Orthodontics, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. After qualifying from the University of London in 1996, Shanthi underwent specialist Orthodontic training followed by Consultant training in the West Midlands and was appointed as Consultant in 2007 at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

She is experienced in all aspects of clinical Orthodontics and has a particular interest in the management of severe malocclusions, dentofacial deformity and congenital anomalies such as hypodontia. She has experience in Orthodontic research having completed a Masters degree from the University of Birmingham during her specialist training and has lectured at regional and national level. In addition to her clinical commitments she is currently involved in teaching on the specialist orthodontic registrar training programme at The University of Birmingham Dental School.

Although Shanthi has an interest in the management of severe cases she is happy to accept referrals of any complexity.
