Entry into the GMC Specialist Register for Ophthalmolgy
Mr Ghosh qualified from the university of Calcutta National Medical College in 1993 with the Honours Medal in Ophthalmology. He also achieved a number of college prizes and distinctions. Mr Ghosh subsequently trained in Ophthalmolgy to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, before sub-specialising in Oculoplastics. Following this, Mr Ghosh completed a Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery, Mohs Micrographic Surgery Reconstruction and Endoscopic Nasal DCR at the renowned Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
Mr Ghosh is a recognised specialist in small incision cataract surgery. He has made several national and international presentations, written over 20 peer-reviewed papers and is involved in regional post graduate teaching and training.
Mr Ghosh is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre
Mr Ghosh consults on all general Ophthalmological problems in adults and also has the following areas of specialist interest
