Mr Nicholas Glover has experience of over 7500 cataract surgeries that he has performed within the West Midlands and South of England. He also specialises in operations for cataracts which may be complicated by other eye disease or trauma.
As a vitreoretinal surgeon he is able to manage the most complex cataract cases, and also takes referrals from other eye surgeons.

Nicholas Glover qualified at the University College of London Medical School in 1994. Whilst studying medicine he obtained his Bachelor of Science from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Mr Glover gained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (London) in 2007 after completing his higher surgical training at the Oxford Eye Hospital. During this time he undertook fellowships in Vitreoretinal surgery and Medical Retina. He completed his surgical training in South Africa where he gained expertise in the treatment of ocular trauma and complex cataract surgery.
His experience from working in Africa means he is adept in the management of advanced cataracts and those who have co-existing eye problems.
As a vitreretinal specialist, his area of expertise includes surgery for Macular holes, Epiretinal membranes, Retinal detachments and diabetic eye disease.
