Mr Pathak is a specialist in General and Laparoscopic Surgery, Hernia Surgery, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and Varicose Veins. Mr Pathak graduated from the University of Calcutta, India with an MBBS degree and then did early surgical training in India, obtaining an MS before coming to the UK in 1996. He continued his surgical training in various hospitals in the West Midlands, Leicester, and London. Mr Pathak then specialised in vascular surgery doing most of his training at the Royal Free Hospital in London, where he studied under the renowned Professor George Hamilton. He accepted a one year Endovascular Fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia where he honed his non-invasive venous techniques. In 2006 Mr Pathak began working as a Consultant General and Vascular Surgeon and began auditing his endovascular work. He has been performing minimally-invasive treatments for venous diseases including laser therapy, radiofrequency treatment and schlerotherapies for 7 years.
