Full Biography

Dr Parmar was an NHS partner for just over 10 years and still works as a GP, with a special interest in gynaecology within the NHS and has been a Medical Director of a corporate private GP service in the heart of Birmingham. She is now working with The Westbourne Centre to set-up and deliver private General Practice from the heart of Edgbaston in a superb facility with clinic rooms and theatres.

Dr Parmar loves being a GP as she enjoys treating people with different medical problems whether they are physical, psychological or emotional. She enjoys seeing the variety of age ranges and gets a lot of job satisfaction from personally getting to know her patients and their families. She believes to have a very privileged role where she has the opportunity to support people in some of their most difficult and challenging times.

Dr Parmar's specialist interests include preventative and lifestyle medicine, gynaecology, contraception and mental health. Having been an NHS GP, she was getting frustrated that she was unable to deliver the quality of care and continuity to her patients. She is now able to deliver a more personal service and practice to patients through Midland Health, here at The Westbourne Centre.
