Full Biography

Mr Malek received junior doctor orthopaedic training from Liverpool and Wales. After completing a prestigious fellowship in hip and knee replacement/ reconstruction surgery from Stanmore (London), he moved to Staffordshire as a lower limb reconstruction surgeon at Mid-Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust, Stoke on Trent.

Mr Malek moved to full time private practice in 2019. His specialty is minimally invasive joint replacement surgery with Enhanced Recovery Protocol.

For his excellence in this field, Mr Malek was awarded ‘Best Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon in Staffordshire 2018 Award’ and ‘Best Hip and Knee Surgeon in Staffordshire 2019 Award’ by Global Health and Pharma Awards.

Mr Malek has joined The Westbourne Centre to provide a knee injection service in the Midlands area at a time of long waiting lists and restrictions in injection services in the NHS.
