Mr Srinivas has been a consultant in hand and upper limb surgery for over fifteen years. He is a specialist in hand surgery including carpal tunnel, Dupuytren’s contracture, trigger finger and arthritis of the hand. He has a special interest in non-surgical collagenase treatment (Xiapex) for the Dupuytren's contractures in the hand with excellent results and patient satisfaction. He is a great believer in patient satisfaction as 'the proof' of the clinical outcome.
Mr Srinivas had specialist fellowship training in U.K at the world renowned Pulvertraft hand centre at Derby. He had additional international fellowships in Ireland and the U.S.A (at Columbia University and Harvard Medical University (Massachusetts General Hospital) in Boston).
Mr Srinivas has developed innovative patient pathways in the hand and upper limb surgery such as a one stop carpal tunnel clinic and a one stop shoulder clinic which have been recognised within local NHS Trust’s excellence awards.
Mr Srinivas is very keen in teaching and training and have been an examiner at the Royal Colleges of Surgery for MRCS and FRCS (Trauma and Orth) exit examinations.
Mr Srinivas holds a masters degree in healthcare management (MBA), which reflects his interest in health care pathways and management.
