Mr Williams qualified in Dentistry in 1990 and Medicine in 1997. He was awarded the Fellowship in Dental Surgery (RCS Edin) in 1994 and the Fellowship in Surgery (RCS Eng) in 1999. He trained in a number of units in the UK, was a craniofacial fellow in Birmingham Children’s Hospital before completing his paediatric maxillofacial fellowship in The Royal Melbourne Children’s Hospital, Australia. He was appointed as a consultant in 2005 and his specialist areas of interest include adult and paediatric facial deformity.
Mr Williams is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the University Hospital Birmingham, New Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Fellow of the Association of Facial Plastic Surgeons
Mr Williams consults on all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery both in adults and children.
He is happy to receive referrals for: Dentoalveolar surgery: impacted teeth, tooth exposures, jaw cysts, apicectomies etc
Dental implants and pre implant grafting
Oral medicine: white/red patches, ulcers etc
Facial pain and TMJ disorders
Facial trauma
Facial asymmetry or disproportion, including jaw realignment, cheek and chin procedures.
